The female body experiences significant changes throughout pregnancy and afterwards. Indeed it can take around a year after birth before the body has recovered, but sometimes longer.
Through correct exercise prescription, fitness can be maintained during all three trimesters of pregnacy. Our instructors can advice on correct exercises and nurtiton. We can also help with pelvic girdle pain and low back pain.
Post nataly, we use the principles of Pilates as well as the latset research to help restore core strength and stability and pelvic floor function. Our instructors will help to teach you how to lift, carry and hold your body correctly for baby.

These classes are designed to be a gentle way to re-introduce physical exercise as well as manage every day tasks. Babes in arms are more than welcome to attend sessions and meet other babies while you exercise and meet other mums.
They are very informal so please feel free to chat and attend to baby as needed

You will need clearance from your GP or midwife before undertaking any exercise routine.
We offer pregnancy one to one training to assit with keeping you fit and healthy throughout your child bearing years.
Sessions will be tailored to your individual needs and will combine an holistic approach including massage and Pilates.
